This poem is inspired by my blog post ‘The Four Cornerstones of a Fulfilling Day: Balance, Consistency, Purpose, and Self-Awareness‘. You can find the full post here:

Each day begins, a canvas bare,
a fleeting gift, a breath of air.
Not meant to chase, nor just survive—
but to feel awake, and truly alive.
Balance whispers, “Hold your ground,
in work and rest, let peace be found.”
It’s knowing when to strive, to slow,
to guard your time, and let joy grow.
Consistency—the quiet thread,
that weaves through all the days ahead.
Not in grand leaps, but steady climb,
a rhythm kept, a sacred rhyme.
Purpose lights the morning’s way,
a north star bright through each new day.
When “why” meets “how,” our hearts align—
and ordinary hours shine divine.
Self-awareness softly calls,
to look within when silence falls.
To meet yourself, both strong and frail,
and learn the truths beneath the veil.
So build your day with mindful art—
a balanced hand, a steady heart.
Each dawn a chance, each breath a key—
to live with depth, awake, and free.
